Only together we can keep our town clean! This is another great way of preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ without any resistance. Our thanks go out to Kampala Capital City Authority who accepted accepted to work with us in our cleanup of streets and sidewalks program of this community.
We are very thankful to God for the local people who worked with us. While we encourage local folks to volunteer in such organized cleanup
campaigns when they take place, we also remind all of us there are
individual things we can do on a regular basis to help keep our city
looking good.
Great
turn up and it felt really good seeing so many people who love
this city and are proud to be from Lungujja showing their support
to us.
It
was a great sign of solidarity and shop keepers were clapping us as we
walked along asking if they needed help!
We have requested the community to Spread the word to friends and neighbours; anyone and everyone are
welcome to help with this important annual event. To make
Clean Sweep campaign a success we require support from all communities in Lubaga Division. By working together, we CAN make a difference.
From these humble beginnings the annual clean-up has blossomed into a
consistently successful event thanks to the help of our staff and KCCA! The continued
success and growing participation is a strong reflection of the
environmental commitment of Lungujja residents.
